What is Beacon Weather Defender?
Beacon Weather Defender is a dual-crystalline, penetrating concrete and masonry sealer. Its unique, water-based formula combines hygroscopic and hydrophilic crystals for pore-blocking function, and hydrophobic material for pore lining. These properties protect surfaces from the delaminating effects of water, moisture saturation, freeze/thaw, Alkali Silica Reactions (ASR), chloride-ion penetration, and ice adhesion. Its excellent water-repelling properties help prevent water, jet fuel, and oil from wetting and saturating concrete surfaces.
Beacon Weather Defender is ideal for exterior or interior concrete and masonry surfaces and can be applied to both positive or negative hydrostatic pressure sides of concrete. The patented formula is environmentally-friendly and can be used on green (fresh) and cured concrete. Simply put, it will keep your concrete looking good and lasting longer saving you significantly on concrete maintenance costs.
